Watch the video and name the currency you see in the video. Activity: Concept: Money (four operations) Learning Objective: to calculate expenditure and handle money in everyday situations. Materials: Coins of 50 fils, 25 fils 1Dhs, 5Dhs, and 10Dhs.and paper and pencil. Method : 1. Put children in groups of 3 2. Give each group a bag with some coins & photocopies of notes. 3. Let them count the denominations and record it. 4. Ask each member of the group to take out 1 coin / note from the bag. 5. Let them now find the new total of each denomination without counting (Using the concept of subtraction.)
